How to take screenshot on Galaxy S10

Taking a screenshot is handy feature to share the content with other or storing it for the future reference. Samsung Galaxy S10 series phones comes with latest One UI. However, most of the popular functionalities of Galaxy S9 are retained. This includes performing print screen. In this post, we will show you four different ways through which you can take screenshot on Galaxy S10 phones.

How to take screenshot on Galaxy S10

Galaxy S10 series has 4 variants as of writing this post. Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10 5G. All these variants supports below mentioned ways of screen capture.

Using Hardware Buttons to take screenshot

One of the most easiest way to capture screenshot is using the hardware keys. To take screenshot on Galaxy S10 using hardware keys, follow the steps given below.

  • Go to the screen you want to capture.
  • Adjust the screen exactly the way you want to capture.
  • Press and Hold the power and volume down button simultaneously.
  • Screenshot will be captured and saved in Screenshot folder in Gallery.

Palm swipe method to capture screenshot

  • Go to Settings->Advanced Feature-> Motions and Gestures.
  • Toggle On palm swipe to capture if it is not enabled.
  • On the screen on which you want to capture screenshot, slowly swipe the side of your hand from one side the screen to the other.
  • Screenshot will be captured.

Scroll Screenshot on Galaxy S10

Scroll screenshot is useful in the situations where you want to scroll and take screenshot. This will one tall image of multiple pages instead of multiple images. Screen shot works only from top to bottom. To take scroll screenshot,

  • Take screenshot using any of the above methods.
  • In the preview screen, tap on the Scroll capture icon (looks like two downward arrows).
  • Repeat step2 as many pages as you want or till the bottom, tap on outside.
  • Long screenshot will be saved.

Using Bixby or Google Assistant

  • Go to the screen.
  • Launch Bixby or Google Assistant.
  • Type or say “Take screenshot”.
  • Screenshot will be captured.

These are the some of the basic methods to capture screenshot in Galaxy S10.
